I haven't 'blogged' for a while - it seems 2 little boys are taking up a lot more of my time than I ever imagined possible! I get to go on facebook most days for a quick mooch, and I suppose a lot more of us use facebook for uploading photos, news, chat etc as it is instant & easily accessible. However, i think it's still nice to have a website on which to post info, photos etc, so please keep checking back & remember you can post your comments on here too!
After the fiasco of a double room booking in Nov, we finally managed to have our winter hafla on Sunday. There were many who attended, but I think those who did enjoyed it! It was a very informal, stress-free hafla and I think it helped those performing to chill out & enjoy it a bit more! I was very proud of all those who danced solos, we had a great variety of dances, and I loved the group routines too! We raised £125 for the Alzheimer's Society so thanks to all who brought raffle tickets & paid for tickets to the hafla. Still undecided if I'll do a 'big' summer hafla or not...!
